The Trinity is the foundational truth that the one true God exists as three co-equal and co-eternal Persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Though the word “Trinity” does not appear in Scripture, the concept is deeply rooted in both Old and New Testaments and has been affirmed by the historic Church.
