The Holy Spirit never contradicts Scripture.

    2. It Must Exalt Christ, Not People<\/strong><\/h3>\n

    3. It Must Produce Order and Understanding<\/strong><\/h3>\n

    Paul insisted that even spiritual gifts must serve clarity and order in the church:<\/p>\n

    \u201cLet all things be done for edification.\u201d<\/strong> (1 Corinthians 14:26)<\/em><\/p>\n

    Do you think the fruit is showing?<\/p>\n

    Others claim they \u201ccannot control\u201d their bodies or speech when the Spirit moves. But the Bible says self-control is itself a fruit of the Spirit<\/strong>. If the Spirit truly fills a person, He doesn\u2019t remove control\u2014He perfects it.<\/p>\n

    \u00a0<\/p>\n

    \u201cThe spirits of the prophets are subject to the prophets.\u201d<\/strong> (1 Corinthians 14:32)<\/em><\/p>\n

    \u00a0<\/p>\n

    If there is no self-control, do you think the fruit is showing?<\/p>\n

    Still others, instead of walking in love, use tongues to measure spirituality<\/strong>, even condemning or discouraging<\/strong> believers who don\u2019t share their experience\u2014saying things like, \u201cYou haven\u2019t received the Spirit yet.\u201d <\/em>Yet Scripture never equates tongues with salvation. That attitude produces division and pride<\/strong>, not love and gentleness. Do you think the fruit is showing?<\/p>\n

    The Holy Spirit\u2019s true mark is Christlike character<\/strong>, not ecstatic speech. A tongue that claims to speak to God but tears down others cannot be genuine.
    The Spirit who gave the gift of tongues in Acts 2 is the same Spirit who produces humility, compassion, and unity in the hearts of believers today.<\/p>\n

    If the fruit is missing, the root should be questioned.<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \u00a0<\/p>\n

    5. It Must Be Free from Manipulation or Hype<\/strong><\/h3>\n

    Genuine works of God are sudden and sovereign<\/strong>, not orchestrated by atmosphere or emotion.
    In the New Testament, no one needed drums or chanting to \u201csummon\u201d the Spirit\u2014He moved by His own will.
    If people must be hyped up or coached to speak in tongues, what follows is humanly produced, not divinely inspired.<\/p>\n

    6. It Must Lead to the Gospel and the Glory of God<\/strong><\/h3>\n

    At Pentecost, tongues resulted in the preaching of the gospel<\/strong> and the salvation of thousands (Acts 2:37\u201341)<\/em>.
    When the Spirit moves, people are convicted of sin and turn to Christ. That\u2019s the ultimate test: does it lead to holiness, evangelism, and worship of God<\/strong>?<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

    The Holy Spirit does not need emotional stimulation to move.
