Praying with Wrong Motives<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"255\" data-end=\"552\">Not every unanswered prayer is a \u201cno\u201d from God\u2014some are the result of <strong data-start=\"325\" data-end=\"342\">wrong motives<\/strong>. But God sees the full picture. He knows the long-term consequences of every gift. <strong data-start=\"821\" data-end=\"873\">He is not only our Provider\u2014He is our Protector.<\/strong> And a good Father will never give His children what will destroy them.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"946\" data-end=\"972\">Jesus taught this clearly:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"974\" data-end=\"1137\">\n<li class=\"\" data-start=\"974\" data-end=\"1137\">\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"976\" data-end=\"1137\"><strong data-start=\"976\" data-end=\"1120\"><em data-start=\"978\" data-end=\"1118\">\u201cWhat man is there among you who, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone? When we rely on a script, we risk losing the <strong data-start=\"820\" data-end=\"843\">personal connection<\/strong> that makes prayer real and powerful.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"882\" data-end=\"1144\">There\u2019s nothing wrong with reading a written prayer if it reflects your true heart\u2014but if you\u2019re simply repeating words without engagement, or thinking that the <em data-start=\"1043\" data-end=\"1062\">specific phrasing<\/em> is what unlocks God\u2019s blessings, that\u2019s not biblical prayer.
