The answer is simple yet serious: we are being saved from the second death<\/strong>\u2014eternal separation from God in the lake of fire. This is the final judgment for every sinner whose sins have not been forgiven.<\/p>\n

\u201cThen Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.\u201d<\/em> \u2014 Revelation 20:14\u201315<\/em><\/p>\n

2. Why Would I Be Punished for My Sins?<\/h4>\n

You might be wondering, Why should I be punished for my sins?<\/em> That\u2019s a fair question\u2014and one that the Bible answers clearly.<\/p>\n

\u201cFor the wages of sin is death…\u201d<\/em> \u2014 Romans 6:23<\/em><\/p>\n

The punishment for sin is death\u2014not just physical death, but eternal separation from God. But sin is not simply about breaking rules or violating commandments. It is, at its core, the rejection of God Himself<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

This rejection began in the Garden of Eden. Adam and Eve were created to walk with God in perfect relationship. But when they disobeyed God\u2019s command, they didn\u2019t just break a rule\u2014they turned away from their Creator. They chose their own way instead of trusting and obeying Him.<\/p>\n

Since then, humanity has followed that same path of rebellion. The Bible paints a sobering picture:<\/p>\n

This is why all people, left to themselves, fall short of God\u2019s glory. The punishment is not just for the evil acts we commit\u2014it\u2019s for turning our backs on the very One who gave us life<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Yes, sin brings death\u2014but God offers a gift<\/strong>: eternal life. And this gift isn\u2019t earned. It\u2019s not a reward for good behavior. It is a result of God\u2019s love, mercy, and grace<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

You see, God didn\u2019t leave us without hope. He made a way for us to be saved\u2014and that way is through the Lord Jesus Christ<\/strong>, who died on the cross of Calvary to pay the price for our sins.<\/p>\n

Listen\u2014our sins can be forgiven because of what Jesus did<\/strong>. What we could never do for ourselves, God did for us.<\/p>\n

So the next question is: Has everyone already been forgiven? Will everyone automatically go to heaven?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cTherefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith apart from the deeds of the law.\u201d<\/em> \u2014 Romans 3:28<\/em>

This is the moment to respond.<\/strong><\/p>\n

You can express your decision to return to God and surrender your life to Jesus Christ through a sincere prayer. This is not about reciting perfect words\u2014it\u2019s about your heart<\/strong> calling out to God.<\/p>\n

If you mean this with all your heart, this prayer can be the beginning of a brand-new life<\/strong>\u2014forgiven, made right with God, and saved.<\/p>\n

Here is a prayer of acceptance you can follow:<\/p>\n

God, I admit that I am a sinner. I have been living my life without You. But today, I want to return to You. I believe that Jesus died for my sins and rose again.
